Following his abrupt exit from the Big Brother Naija show, Ololade ‘Kayvee‘ Gbolahan has finally spoken out.
Kayvee exited the show after scaring his other housemates with his lack of engagement and unexpected mood change, both of which were linked to his mental health.
According to a press release from the photographer, he is presently doing well at home with his family and is receiving the medical attention he need.

Statement Regarding My Departure From The Big Brother House (Shine Ya Eye)
1. Ololade Gbolahan Olajide (KayVee) wishes to express his gratitude to everyone for their love and support during my week in the Big Brother House. The affection I've gotten from people both inside and beyond Nigeria has amazed me.
I also want to express my gratitude to my family and friends for their continuous support during my four-week stay in the holding facility.
Being a part of the Big Brother House has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience that has given me access to networks and some of the best supporters a photographer could hope for.
I misjudged the impact of solitude on my mental health and ability to integrate with my housemates. I genuinely wanted to stay until the 72nd day, and I feel I had the personality, empathy, and competitive spirit to have done so. However, a series of incidents that occurred in fast succession worsened my anxiety and hindered my ability to be the joyful, lively, and entertaining person that I am.
I've reconnected with my family since leaving the House, and I'm currently in a medical institution, working through the crippling anxiety I was experiencing. I am in desperate need of your love and prayers.
I'm excited to connect publicly with #KayVeeFC, whose love and dedication have been nothing short of incredible. I'll never be able to express my thanks in words.
Hey, rockstars, to my team who have been rocking it on social media!
With all my heartfelt gratitude,
Kayvee.
