Liverpool and Egypt star, Mohamed Salah is said to be asking £500,000 per week in order to sign a new contract with the club.
The Egyptian's current contract is set to expire in 2023, and the Reds are keen to extend it amid reports of interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Salah, according to a fresh claim from Football Insider, wants a weekly salary of half a million pounds to stay at Liverpool.
Salah has stated that he is willing to play out his career with Liverpool, but that he first wants to be named the club's top earner.
He scored a hat-trick in Manchester United's 5-0 defeat at Old Trafford on Sunday, October 24, and is currently Europe's most skilled striker, alongside Victor Osimhen and Robert Lewandowski.
