Wizkid, a Nigerian singer and songwriter, may be in line for his first Independent Grammy nomination for his song "Made In Lagos" at the 2022 Grammy Awards.
Big Wiz's fourth studio album, Made in Lagos, was released on the 30th of October 2020 through Starboy Entertainment and RCA Records.
Wizkid's record has been nominated for a Grammy Award in the "Best Global Music Album" category, according to Billboard, a platform that tracks the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in the United States and other countries based on genre.

In 2021, Wizkid received his first Grammy Award for his contribution to Beyonce's song Brown Skin Girl.
