Kemi Afolabi was diagnosed with Lupus and indicated that she has already spent a significant amount of money managing it because it is incurable.
Doctors gave actress Kemi Afolabi around 5 years to live, and she has already completed one of those years.
Kemi told Chude Jideonwo that her doctor advised her to prepare for the worst case scenario.
She paraphrased what her doctor said: "Make sure you're with your family. At the very least, you have another five years."
When asked about the illness, she stated, "I suffer from lupus. It can't be cured. All you have to do now is take your prescription for the rest of your life."
She claimed to have spent N1.2 million on therapy, but that it had failed.
She added that she is always in pain.
Lupus is an autoimmune disease in which the body's own tissues and organs are attacked by the immune system. It can't be cured; it can only be controlled.
