Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), deletes his post endorsing Israel in the midst of its current conflict with Palestine.
Six days have passed since the crisis broke out on Saturday, when Hamas, a Palestinian organization, attacked Israel. Thousands of people have di''ed and numerous more have been injured.
Pastor Enoch Adeboye had taken to the micro-blogging platform, X, to pray for Israelis while wishing peace on their land in this trying time of theirs.
Nigerians, on the other hand, fiercely retaliated against the clergyman's prayer, claiming that Jews are not Christians nor do they honor Christianity in any manner. These claims were backed by multiple videos of Israelis inciting Christians publicly.
Since then, the revered preacher has removed the video from all of his social media accounts, even those that were shared on the RCCG's official accounts.
