Renowned Nollywood actress Mo Bimpe, whose real name is Adebimpe Oyebade, has opened out about her experiences dealing with internet trolling following her marriage to colleague Lateef Adedimeji. During a chat with her friend, the actress Debbie Shokoya, Mo Bimpe disclosed that she is frequently singled out by people who criticize her relationship.
Mo Bimpe and Lateef, who got married in December 2021, are a contentious couple in the movie business. There were rumors that Mo Bimpe's pregnancy served as a spark for their union. Some people even questioned her physical looks and acting abilities.
Several years into their marriage, there remained curiosity regarding when she would start a family.
Mo Bimpe said in a recent interview that she receives frequent internet taunting, including direct messages asking about her intended pregnancy. She expressed her surprise at such comments, stating, "Since I got married to my husband, it has been one troll to another... A girl came to my page to say, 'When are you getting pregnant?' I was like, what kind of comment is this?"
Mo Bimpe has learnt to ignore the trolls in spite of the difficulties. She admits that dealing with them might be difficult at times, but she always has to remind herself that these trolls are just sad people trying to bring her down.
