Darosha Losobeh, Mohbad's cousin, has come out to address the contentious video depicting the late singer's twisted neck in a coffin. Contrary to allegations of breaking Mohbad's neck, Darosha expressed his anguish over the false accusations and the impact on his mental state.
Darosha gave an explanation of the circumstances behind Mohbad's neck's unusual placement in an Instagram post. He said that upon arriving in Ikorodu, they were notified that Mohbad's body could not be stored at the morgue, and they preferred not to have him buried that evening. In response, a worker suggested paying for an ambulance and a coffin to keep him until the next morning, with the same ambulance transporting him to the burial site.
Due to practical issues—the ambulance they took to reach Ikorodu had to return to the island that same night—the family approved the plan. Darosha clarified that only Mohbad's mother was not present during this decision-making process.
Expressing his emotional distress, Darosha stated that breaking Mohbad's neck was not the intent but a consequence of the circumstances. He highlighted that they were unaware of the coffin's size and paid for it along with the ambulance out of necessity to preserve Mohbad until the burial. The post aims to clear the misinformation and provide context to the controversial video.
