The murder suspect was observed after a scuffle devouring the victim's ear and eyeball.

The police noted that the Clark County Medical Examiner’s office would release the name of the man who died, as well as his cause and manner of death at a later time.

When police got at the site, Czech was discovered devouring the man's ear and eyeball. As per police records, Czech was discovered with "biological matter in his hair, mouth and on his clothing".

Documents retrieved by KLAS state that police got a complaint about someone tackling someone on the ground in the Charleston Boulevard area, and then they got another call about an hour later reporting that a man had been "eating" another man's face at a bus stop.

Documents seen by KLAS state that Czech claimed to have been awake for "five days straight" and to have informed authorities he "was going in and out of consciousness" because something was "possessing him."

Czech had been supposed to appear in court on Monday, April 29, but the judge pointed out that he was still in the hospital, so he was unable to do so. Czech is to be detained without bail, the judge further ordered.

His next hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, May 1.
