The singer's sobbing selfies on his official Instagram account without any explanation caused many to wonder if they were related to his alleged marital problems with his 27-year-old wife Hailey Bieber.
The real reason behind the emotional snaps should not be cause for alarm, insiders have claimed.
The insider said the Sorry singer was simply overcome with emotion and his love for Jesus Christ after praying.

Though fans may have been concerned about his well-being and the state of his marriage when he posted photos of himself sobbing, the real focus was on his devotion to Jesus.
'It is profound, but he prays and often sheds tears after plunging into his faith. Though he prays and gives thanks for all that he has in his life, he gets carried away and the emotions that come from it all are released through tears.'
