Lateef Adedimeji Reveals Details On Casting Decisions For "Lisabi," Highlighting Mr. Macaroni and Ibrahim Chatta

Recently, award-winning actor and producer Lateef Adedimeji provided details on the casting decisions made for his most recent film, Lisabi, which is executive produced and produced by his wife MoBimpe. Adedimeji clarified that the casting choices of Ibrahim Chatta as Olori Ilari and Mr. Macaroni as Sokenu were well-considered during a Nollywood radio interview.

Adedimeji disclosed that he had Ibrahim Chatta in mind for the part of Olori Ilari from the very beginning of the script's development. Based on his in-depth knowledge of the character and his research, he felt that Chatta was ideally suited for it. MoBimpe continued, saying that she had always wanted to collaborate with Chatta and Lisabi had given her an ideal opportunity to realize that ambition.

Adedimeji stated that choosing Mr. Macaroni to play Lisabi's best buddy, Sokenu, was an easy decision. He clarified that ever since they collaborated on the movie Ayinla, in which they had intimate roles, their chemistry had been obvious. The two performers have been close friends ever since, which has only strengthened the bond between their Lisabi personas.

In agreement with her husband, MoBimpe said that Mr. Macaroni is not only a fellow actor but also a close family friend, a relationship that was bolstered by his role as Adedimeji's best man at their wedding.
