Renowned Nigerian Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, widely known as Kwam1 or K1 De Ultimate, has announced the passing of his mother, Halima Anifowoshe, at the remarkable age of 105.
On Saturday, the renowned artist posted the heartbreaking news on social media. He wrote, "Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi Raji’un. RIP Mama," alongside a heartwarming picture of himself with his late mother.
This tragic incident comes just after Kwam1 experienced another personal tragedy. He lost one of his wives, Alhaja Hafsat Ajoke Anifowoshe, earlier last week. She passed away on Tuesday after battling an undisclosed ailment. In accordance with Islamic customs, she was buried that same day at Abari Cemetery in Lagos.
Fans and colleagues have since flooded social media with condolences, offering prayers and support to the grieving musician during this challenging time.
