Joseph Aloba, the father of the late musician Ileri Aloba, formerly known as Mohbad, has once again questioned if Liam, the youngster Mohbad left behind, is, in fact, his grandson.
Aloba claimed in a recent interview with Silverbird TV that after his son's death in September 2023, he has not had any contact with Liam.
When asked if he has made any effort to see Liam, Mr Aloba said;
‘’As a father, they know where I am living. They are supposed to come to me. They are supposed to bring that child to me and say this is your grandson. I demanded a DNA. They are supposed to say 'Daddy, go and do it at your convenience time' but they have been hiding it. This has now become a public issue. Let the court anything about the DNA and then I will know what to do''
When he was asked if he thinks Liam is his grandson, Mr Aloba said;
‘’Let the court make the final say concerning that''
When asked if Liam bears any resemblance to Mohbad, Mr Aloba said;
No…with what I am seeing''
‘’So he is not your grandson?' the reporter asked him and he responded ‘’He is not''
He declared that he would welcome Liam as his grandchild if the DNA test revealed that the young child was indeed his grandson.
