Early this morning, Muslim youngsters in Ashaiman, Washington, saw a small boy in a nearby bush using Qur'anic sheets as toilet paper.
The youth had noticed that pages from the Qur'an were being used as toilet paper in a bush that the villagers often used for defecation.
They informed the local Imam of the situation out of concern, and after a few days of watching, they managed to apprehend the young man.
When asked how he obtained the Qur'an, the youngster replied that it had been in his room for a while and had belonged to his late father, who was a Muslim.
He also admitted that he is a Christian and has little knowledge of the Qur’an.
