Another Nollywood Actor Dies At Age 69 [Photos]

Victor Olaotan, the legendary actor, passed away on August 26, 2021, at the age of 69.

In the long-running television series Tinsel, he portrayed Fred Ade-Williams.

Mrs Olaotan, his wife, announced his death earlier today, expressing gratitude that the actor can finally rest after years of agony.

“He has made an effort. Being locked in your own body for five years is not easy. “At long last, he can relax,” she added.

Victor Olaotan was trapped in Turkey for months due to his inability to pay his medical bills.

Victor Olaotan, the late, was born in Lagos in the early 1950s. He went to the University of Ibadan, Obafemi Awolowo University, and Rockets University in the United States to study drama.

Prior to his father's death in the early 1970s, he was introduced to acting by an instructor who was a part of the Ori Olokun Theatre group.

He moved to the United States when his father died in 1978, but returned to Nigeria in 2002 to resume his acting career.

Olaotan has appeared in films such as "Three Wise Men," in which he co-starred with Richard Mofe-Damijo and Zack Orji, "Love Struck," and "Lotanna."
