Cristiano Ronaldo has joined Manchester United, according to a statement made by the Premier League club lately.

The news of the deal has sparked a social media frenzy, with admirers wishing him well on his return to England.

There had been rumors that Ronaldo was about to join Manchester City before to this revelation, which did not sit well with United supporters.

All of that has finally been put to rest, as Manchester United has confirmed in a new statement that he will join the Red Devils.

Please see the following statement:

Manchester United is pleased to announce that the club has achieved an agreement with Juventus for Cristiano Ronaldo's transfer, subject to personal terms, visa and medical approval.
