Uti Nwachukwu, a media personality and reality star, has responded to last night's brawl among BBNaija housemates Pere and Whitemoney.
After a game last night, the housemates had a brawl, with Pere removing his belt, which led the other roommates concluding that he was attempting to harass and intimidate Whitemoney.
In response to Uti's alleged altercation with Pere, a prominent Nollywood actor stated that Pere would never bully anyone.
It's possible, he says, that the previous wildcard is following a script, that he's playing a cruel game, or that the house's atmosphere is starting to get to him, causing him to react in this way.
In part, his post stated,
“I adore my pals, and they are well aware that I am not one to sugarcoat the facts... Bullying is unacceptably cruel. Regardless of who you are or where you've been, every human being needs to be treated with the utmost respect, regardless of your feelings about them.
There are three possible situations, in my opinion, at this point. Either Pere is acting in a script as one of the wildcards in order to create drama (as he stated in the intro tape), OR he is playing a ruthless game in which you taunt your opponent until they lose it and take themselves out, OR the tension in the house has gotten to him, and his response is to intimidate (fight or flight). Because the Pere I know in real life would never, ever do something like this to anyone.
In any case, THAT KIND OF BEHAVIOR IN A REAL LIFE SITUATION IS TOTALLY INCOMPLETE.
This does not sit well with me. But I promised myself that this year I would watch without feeling, so...”
