In the early hours of today, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, stormed into former BBNaija housemate, Dorathy Bachor's flat.
The anti-graft agency's men broke into her residence in search of a person who had run into the estate, but they refused to apologize after they realized their mistake.
Dorathy described the experience and expressed her dissatisfaction with how dangerous it is to be a Nigerian. She said;
“At 4:35 a.m., I heard a huge bang and voices, I ran out to see five armed EFCC men in my living room, one of them said, ‘Oh na dat Big Brother girl be this.'
“I was trying to figure out why they broke down my door in my confused state. Then one of them told me that they were hunting for someone who had broken into the estate and that I should lock my door, stay inside, and not say anything.
“I’m shaking at this point and so confused because at what point is this Okay.
“What good is it to be a citizen of this country if I can't even feel safe in my own home?”
