Angel has said that she didn't know who her biological mother was until she was seven years old because she was raised by her grandma.
Her parents had her at a young age and were still trying to figure out their lives, so she had to stay with her grandma, according to the 21-year-old reality star.
Angel revealed this to Cross in a conversation, noting that she still refers to her grandmother as mother, unless her grandmother and mother are in the same room.
“My mother had me when she was still figuring out her life, and my father had me when he was still working out his life. At the time, the greatest option for us was for me to live with my grandmother... I grew up believing that I wasn't good enough for my parents; if I wanted to see my mother, she would say she was busy, and if I wanted to see my father, he would say he was busy.
“Funny thing is, I didn't realize my mother was my mother until I was a certain age; I assumed my grandmother was my mother. That's why I've always called my grandmother mummy.. Until a certain age, I mistook her for my sister,” She said
When Cross asked her what age she realized who her biological mum was, she replied, “When I was 7”.
