Second runner-up of Big Brother Naija, BBNaija Season 6, Pere has spoken up about using Maria as a ploy to progress in the reality show.
Pere said he didn't used Maria as a strategy in the house during an interview with Ebuka on Africa Magic.
Maria, he claimed, was the ideal person for him in the house.
"Maria was not a strategy," Pere explained, "she just happened to be the right person at the right time."
"I know I said some things I shouldn't have said, but I just hope she forgives me."
