A strange incident in Abeokuta has generated a lot of online conversation following reports of a giant flying bird apparently transforming into an elderly woman at around one in the morning.
But the woman wouldn't admit to any wrongdoing.
A video of the incident was posted to the well-known social media site X (previously Twitter), where the story was shared.
In the clip, a group of people surrounded the woman, questioning her about the alleged transformation.
Using the Bible text that states that God does not want sinners to die, the elderly woman begged for her release instead of directly answering.
In spite of her pleas, the crowd were unconvinced and insisted that she confess to any supposed "ungodly" activities.
As the post went viral, concerned individuals poured into the comment area to voice their thoughts, some expressing surprise and others doubting the authenticity of the allegations.
