ISIS Releases Video Of 12 years Old Terrorist Executing Two Nigerian Soldiers

The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), also known as Daesh in Arabic, has published a video depicting two Nigerian soldiers being executed by a 12-year-old member of ISWAP (Islamic State's West Africa Province), a splinter Boko Haram cell.

The troops were shot dead by the terrorist with his AK-47 in the 17-minute video.

Other strikes from ISWAP's spring campaign in Borno and Yobe states in 2021 were also documented in the video, which was titled "Makers of Epic Battles."

Tomasz Rolbiecki, a researcher on Islamic State atrocities around the world, analyzed the tape and called the execution "terrible."

Rolbiecki wrote on Twitter, "There are no words to convey how dreadful that is."

"In general, the film covers attacks during ISWAP's spring campaign in northern Borno and Yobe, however there are also clips from southeastern and southwestern Borno state," he stated.

“The majority of the material had already been published in photo reports prior to the release of this film. It's something Daesh has been doing for a long time. There is, however, some fresh stuff.

“For the first time in a long time, if not ever, ISWAP verifies the militants are employing an APC (which appears to be a Mowag Piranha variant).” They've been rumored to be utilizing APCs and MRAPs for a long, but there's been no confirmation until today.

“The assault on Gajiram will come next. It's impossible to identify which one it is because there were numerous in the previous year, and the footage had never been released before.

"Then ISWAP shows an IED attack that must have occurred in Mallam Fatori," says the author (I do not have the exact date). The militants show the aftermath on a video filmed by one of the troops who was hit by the IED. Daesh use this tactic on occasion.

"Following that, a clip from Geidam, Yobe State, is displayed." This was the attack on April 23rd, during which ISWAP briefly took control of the town. We've seen the majority of the material before."
