Following what was called a "s$x marathon," Inspector Lawal Ibrahim, a police officer, was found lifeless in a hotel room in Abuja.
According to reports, the police met a woman named Maryam Abba online approximately three months ago. Last week, he invited her to the Palasa Hotel in Abuja.
The couple reportedly engaged in se;;'"xual activity in the evening, throughout the night, and again in the early hours of the morning.
After the morning session, it appears that Inspector Lawal experienced respiratory issues and passed out.
Maryam sprayed water on his face in an attempt to revive him, but when that didn't work, she informed the hotel management.
The hotel's management called the police right away. When the authorities arrived, they discovered Lawal lifeless in the room. Later, the Abuja Teaching Hospital pronounced him de'"@ad.
A phone charger, a se';;; xual enhancement medication, and watermelon were among the items found at the scene.
Since then, Maryam has been taken into custody, and inquiries regarding the officer's mu@ 'rder are still being conducted.
The police are yet to release an official statement regarding the incident.
