The supreme Yoruba ruler, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ooni of Ife, celebrated his 47th birthday on Sunday.
The famous Yoruba king, the 51st Ooni of Ife, was born on October 17, 1974.
Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi ascended to the throne in 2015, succeeding Oba Okunade Sijuwade, the 50th Ooni of Ife.
Oba Enitan is married and has a son with Olori Naomi Silekunola.
On the occasion of the Yoruba monarch's birthday, several renowned Nigerians have used various channels to express their support for him.
The Ooni of Ife took to his Instagram page to celebrate his birthday. He wrote;
"Fún ògbólógbòó ọdún àti ìfojúsùn ọjọ́ iwájú, mo ní ìrètí àti ìdánilójú fún orílè̩ èdè tí ó kún fún àṣeyọrí àti akitiyan láti ò̩dọ gbogbo olùgbé inú rẹ̀. Orílẹ̀ èdè tí oun gbòòrò nípa ìfìmọ̀ṣọ̀kan àti aláfíà
