A Nigerian man who was often mistaken for controversial Lagos socialite Sam Larry has vented his dissatisfaction.
Sam Larry has recently faced severe criticism on social media after being captured on tape bullying and harassing the deceased Nigerian singer, Mohbad, who passed away on Tuesday, September 12.
Numerous Nigerians have made him a target and urged the country's authorities to find and detain him.
Because of the negative publicity surrounding him, the Oba of Elegushi and the Eletu dynasty have also distanced themselves from the socialite.
In light of this, his look alike has taken to the internet to clarify that he is not Sam Larry and to ask people to stop confusing him for the real Sam Larry.
He also disclosed that he has seen strange looks in public and has had to carry his ID card with him as proof of his real identity.
He related a story about some musicians who arrived to his studio to record songs but continued staring at him suspiciously, believing him to be Sam Larry.
His friend, DJ Spyce, shared the disclaimer video and wrote,
“Public Notice……….. My friend/ Colleague is being mistaken for Sam Larry,he is not even De related to him at all. My Niiga is scared and it’s not even funny at all E jor make una leave Ay alone o.”
