Nigerian music mogul Don Jazzy has once again shown his incredible compassion by giving N500,000 to help pay for a woman's hospital costs while she is being treated at Lagos' Igbobi Hospital.
This kind deed was done in response to the woman's daughter Laura's desperate need for financial support on the well-known microblogging site, Twitter.
The worrying circumstance started when Laura posted on Twitter to ask for assistance, disclosing that her mother was confined to Igbobi Hospital because she owed N400,000 for unpaid medical bills.
She posted a heartbreaking picture of her sick mother resting in a hospital bed and alerted her followers about the impending difficult deadline of Monday to pay the debt.
Laura added, "Please help us, we need to raise 400k before Monday so my mum can be discharged from Igbobi hospital."
Mavin Records founder Don Jazzy answered the request for help right away.
He contacted Laura and asked for her account details. His nice gesture of transferring N500,000 to her account ensured that her mother's discharge would not be hampered by the unpaid medical bill.
This substantial donation supports other basic necessities during this trying time in addition to paying the medical bills.
Don Jazzy took to his social media platforms to share a screenshot of the transaction, confirming the completion of the financial aid.
He informed Laura and his followers of the successful transfer.
