Following their reconciliation, Queen Dami, the ex-wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo and current lover of controversial performer Portable, has made her position known.
The two seemed loving in a since-deleted video posted to Portable's Instagram profile, suggesting that their recent argument was over. Queen Dami didn't mince words, though, threatening to leave if Portable took another wife behind her back because she is with him for financial security.
Portable accompanied the video with a cryptic caption:
"One Man for all women, all women for one man. Make money before you love. He gets why. Kinggy kinggy kangae kangae. Ika talk, ika understand."
They reconciled weeks after Portable said that Queen Dami wasn't the first woman in his life and wouldn't be the last, and he openly accused her of chasing away female patrons from his bar. Queen Dami retaliated, claiming her blessings and independence in spite of his attacks.
Despite the fact that Queen Dami hasn't yet given birth to offspring for him, Portable has previously commended her for her loyalty. The musician, who already has six kids, prayed that she would get pregnant for him too.
Prior to dating Portable, Queen Dami was wed to Oba Lamidi Adeyeye, the late Alaafin of Oyo. She apparently broke a palace rule, which caused her to depart the palace, ending their union. Later, she blamed her actions on her anger and poor friend advice. Regretfully, she was unable to make amends with the monarch prior to his dea'th last year.
