The 42-year-old mother of one talked candidly about her difficult path to parenthood during a recent visit on the reality show "Young, Famous and African."
According to Ini Edo, she married at the age of 26 with the goal of completing her childbearing by the age of 31, retiring, and concentrating on her career.
But life had other ideas. She revealed that she had undergone IVF, suffered more than six miscarriages, and lost a pregnancy in the middle.

“I got married at the age of 26 because I thought that by 31, I would have been done with childbearing, retired, and focused on my career, but life didn’t go that way. I tried. I have had over six miscarriages. It wasn’t an easy journey for me. I’ve done IVF. I’ve lost pregnancies midway. I know what I’ve dealt with as a woman.”
