Crisis In TB Joshua’s Synagogue Church As Members Reject TB Joshua’s Wife As Successor

Mrs Evelyn Joshua, wife of late founder T.B Joshua, was apparently rejected as successor by some members of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).

The SCOAN members, in a statement issued by one Adedeji Opeyemi, President of GCSM, and Secretary, Mr. Brown Chimieze, an organization under the auspices of the Global Congress of SCOAN Members (GCSM-), called on people all over the world to help in "supporting the church from ruins."

“We are concerned about the appearance of Mrs Evelyn Joshua, the late founder's wife, who declared herself the new leader of the Church unilaterally.

“She claimed she was appointed by a congregation of 2000 Church members. This is absurd: where did the meeting take place? Was it because of a Yes vote? Was it a result of the election? Was it because of the 2000 members' 'anointing'?

“Where is the 2000-members' resolution? In a Church with millions of members on five continents, can 2000 members choose a successor? What is the Church's constitution? Was it complied with?

“Mrs. Evelyn Joshua is not a pastor,” says the author. Pastor Joshua never anointed her with oil. She was not one of the Church's original members. What is the foundation for her emergence as the new leader she claims to be?

“Under the auspices of the SCOAN Congress, which has members from 188 nations, we will continue to enlighten and educate the public, as well as individuals all over the world, about every development at SCOAN until wisdom, God's ways, and common sense triumph.” The statement is as follows:
