After catching his wife and a friend in bed, a Tanzanian businessman made an odd demand that surprised everyone.
According to a local TV station, Issa Kasili, a Tanzanian from Mpimbwe, caught his wife in bed with his friend, Mayombi Mwela, at a guest house. Instead of fighting them, he demanded Ksh240,000 in compensation (N892k).
In a video obtained by the TV station, a furious Kasili could be seen confronting the duo in a guest house.
“You have slept with my wife Mayombi, you have accomplished what you set out to do,” he was overheard telling her.
Talking to his wife, Kasili stated:
“You gave birth to my child and now you believe you are untouchable. “From now on, our marriage is over.”
Before demanding payment, Kasili told Mayombi to take the woman as his wife. He stated,
"Refund me for my expenses and take her; she is now your wife."
Mayombi was said to have immediately paid Kasili the sum he requested.
