Chinwetalu Agu, a veteran and well-respected actor, has been brutalized by Nigerian Army for wearing a Biafran flag attire.
The incident occurred in Anambra state's Upper Iweka district.
According to reports, Nigerian army stopped the Nollywood actor and took him out of his vehicle for questioning.
In a video obtained, the actor can be seen getting out of his automobile, which bears the inscription "Chinwetalu Films."
The automobile was then checked by security personnel before he was manhandled by troops who fired warning rounds to disperse the gathering.
Below is a video of the incident;
Recall that Chinwetalu Agu recently flaunted the Biafra flag in a social media post.
The images of the 65-year-old actor dressed in half of a yellow sun outfit sparked outrage, with admirers fearing for his safety and telling authorities that nothing should be done to him for exercising his right.
The Federal Government had banned the flying of the Biafra flag in the southeast following the now-violent agitations by the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
