Following his condolence visit to Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, who just lost his second wife, Nomthi, Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder and general overseer of Living Faith Church, nicknamed Winners Chapel, has sparked substantial social media reactions.
Nomthi's death was revealed on Tuesday after a two-year struggle with cancer.
According to images that have appeared online, Bishop Oyedepo and his wife Faith, as well as other church authorities, paid a visit to the bereaved pastor.
The visit of Oyedepo, on the other hand, has sparked controversy on social media, especially because the church snubbed Prophet T.B Joshua's widow after her husband's death.
A few days following T.B Joshua's death, many renowned Nigerian pastors avoided paying a condolence visit to his wife, sparking outrage on social media.
Many people felt the decision was made due to his controversial lifestyle and ministry.

Abeg you guys should focus on your life and leave others to leave theirs. That you mention the name of the lord does that make you a believer? I don’t want to argue Bible or quote scripture with you or anyone else. If you know your Bible then you won’t find a problem with people choice of association.
Even TB Joshua’s wife sent some people away for a reason best known to her. It their choice and their life. Live and let’s live. If you talk from now till Jesus come your can’t be more holy than them. Heaven is a personal race focus on yours. Peace
