Six alarming prophesies for 2022 have been made by a blind clairvoyant who reportedly predicted 9/11 and Brexit.
Natural calamities, a water crisis, and an extraterrestrial invasion before the end of next year are among the prophesies made by Baba Vanga, a Bulgarian mystic who lost her sight at the age of 12.
Her visions, dubbed the "Nostradamus of the Balkans," are reported to be 85 percent accurate, and include the Chernobyl disaster, Princess Diana's death, and the breakup of the Soviet Union.
Despite a difficult 2021 for the whole planet, Baba Vanga's next prognosis is filled with even more dread and misery.
One of her most plausible forecasts for 2022 is a virtual reality takeover, with people spending more time in front of screens than ever before.
She also imagined a new epidemic, this time in Siberia, triggered by a frozen virus that will be unleashed as a result of climate change.
Baba Vanga, whose true name is Vangelia Gushterova, also prophesied famine in India, claiming that temperatures will rise to 50 degrees, causing locusts to damage crops.
According to the mystic, more earthquakes and tsunamis are on the way, as well as 'severe spells of flooding' in Australia and parts of Asia.
It is believed that Baba Vanga's predictions will continue to come true in spite of her death in 1996.
In 2023, the Earth's orbit will change, humans will fly to Venus in 2028, Muslims would rule Europe in 2043, and the cosmos will end in 5079, according to her futuristic views.
She also projected that, thanks to organ transplant technologies, humans will live for more than 100 years in 2046.
She predicted that the night will vanish by 2100, and that artificial sunshine would brighten another part of the Earth.
