Odunare Olalekan, a 21-year-old diploma holder, was recorded on Tuesday, December 14, trying to commit suicide by jumping into a lagoon in Epe Local Government Area of Lagos State.
On Tuesday about 10 a.m., the victim, whose corpse has yet to be found, leapt into the lagoon in the Epe district.
Olalekan, who has an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) and works at Alaro City, a large mega estate along the Lekki-Epe Expressway, was shown resting on the rails of a bridge before leaping into the waters in footage published online.
A guy filming the situation asked about Olalekan's intentions, but the devastated Olalekan never answered.
It was also learnt that the man who is presumed dead, left behind a one-year-old baby for his 19-year-old girlfriend.
