On Saturday, December 25, some Muslims joined Christian believers at the Christ Evangelical and Life Intervention Ministry in Sabon Tasha, Kaduna state, to celebrate their Christmas service as part of attempts to foster religious tolerance and Christian-Muslim partnerships.
At the church, 525 Muslims were present, including members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), also known as Shiites.
Yuhana Buru, general overseer of the church, was also given a gift by Abdullahi Rabo, district head of Kurmin-Mashi, and Ahmad Rabo, Tijjaniya Imam.
Some of the Muslim attendees also joined the Christians in a dance.
