Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress's (APC) National Leader, has left the nation to'rest and strategize.'
According to Punch, a member of the Working Committees of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Movement said that the politician departed the nation on Friday, January 28, 2022.
“He travelled abroad to rest after going around the country for consultations. He travelled to rest and strategize.” the source said.
Tinubu had met President Muhammadu Buhari earlier this month and told State House media that he had informed the President of his desire to run for the presidency in 2023.
Tinubu traveled to various states throughout the country following the announcement for consultations on his political ambitions.
Tinubu announced his presidential ambition three months after he returned from London, where he was said to have undergone knee surgery.
But yesterday, Tinubu was absent at the formal inauguration of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (ABAT) movement’s working committees in Lagos.
