Shared online is a video that shows Davido reacting impulsively during Mohbad's memorial service when he felt someone was trying to put something on his head.
Among the celebrities that took part in the candlelight procession and tribute night organized in honor of the departed singer at Muri Okunola Park in Lagos on Thursday, September 21, was the well-known Nigerian musician, who traveled from overseas to attend the occasion.
Davido was strolling with the group during the serene stroll, though being closely watched by his security. To protect the singer from the sun, one of his crew members took off his bucket hat and put it on his head at one point.
Davido trembled as soon as the hat touched his head, removing it swiftly, as if he thought some stranger was trying to put something weird on his head. He replaced the hat after recognizing that it belonged to one of his team members.
The video has sparked a flurry of comments on social media, with many mentioning the singer’s concern for his safety.
