Nollywood actress Biola Bayo said on her Instagram page that she had a difficult weekend and shed some tears. A recent episode of the Yoruba star's chat show, "Talk To B," had to be pulled down because of editing errors, and she spoke up about the emotional toll that receiving criticism and trolling takes.
Biola expressed her dismay, saying that the unfavorable comments on YouTube had made her feel depressed. She expressed her regret to her followers for the disappointment and stressed the time, money, effort, and resources used in producing the content.
In her words, she stated, "I haven’t been this down in a long time. This got to me so bad because I put in so much in it... I am so bothered, I am so troubled, this pain me so much because I have put in so much effort, resources, time, and energy into doing this."
She took to social media to apologize for the technical problems in Episode 26 and gave them her word that they will be fixed. The episode brings to light the difficulties encountered by content producers as well as the psychological effects of internet criticism.
