Aisha Yesufu, a controversial activist, has openly rejected the recently approved national anthem by refusing to honour it during a recent event.
The activist expressed her disapproval of the anthem by sitting calmly as it was being recited in a now-viral video.
Aisha Yesufu shared the video of her protest on her X account on Friday with the caption #NotMyNationalAnthem.
Her actions make it quite evident that she is unhappy that the old national anthem has been reinstated.
This act of protest follows President Bola Tinubu signed National anthem Bill 2024 into law, bringing back the old national anthem, "Nigeria, We Hail Thee."
