Habeeb Hazmat, a well-known TikToker from Nigeria who goes by Peller, has revealed the key to his success on the app. In an interview with Nedu on the Honest Bunch Podcast, Peller disclosed that the secret to becoming popular on TikTok is to project a “dull” persona.
He revealed that he had poor views when he first used proper English in his content. His popularity, however, increased to almost 2,000 people after he began speaking in poor English during his live sessions.
Peller also discussed his profits, stating that he has earned ₦10 million on TikTok in a single night. Peller revealed that he only made ₦1.5 million from a TikTok live session with musician Davido, despite allegations claiming he made $200,000 from the event.

Peller uploaded a video of the momentous occasion when he proposed to Jarvis, his girlfriend, last week. He announced that their wedding is scheduled for 2025 and expressed his joy about their future together. Peller shared the good news with Davido on Instagram after he made the proposal.

In a past TikTok live session, Peller struck up a friendship with singer Tiwa Savage, who appeared alongside her friend Jadrolita.
