Unknown gunmen opened fire on passers-by at Neokeisima junction Umulogho in Obowo Local Government Area of Imo State on Friday evening, November 5, killing three people on the scene.
According to The Nation, the shooting, which occurred at 7.50 p.m., sparked chaos as residents and passers-by fled for their lives.
According to an eyewitness, the perpetrators sped to Umuahia in Abia State in the car as the victims were drenched in blood.
Contacted, spokesperson of the State Police Command, CSP Michael Abattam said the police was yet to get report of the incident.
"I will investigate the incident and get back to you." he said.
